I was asked to design a data visualization that would become a wall mural in Mode’s office in San Francisco.
I created a heatmap showing when Mode’s users share a report they’ve created for the first time. The heatmap is a grid of 7 columns and 24 rows, with each of the 168 cells representing an hour of the week. The brightness of each cell indicates the relative frequency of first shares occurring in that hour.
